My major project is called ‘Unwind.’ Reflecting on the coronavirus initial lockdown and the joy we felt when we had our freedom given back to us that summer, I am considering how this time made me appreciate the things I had closer to home. Using inspiration from the Welsh coast, I want the relief we all felt to resonate throughout my collections to my audience connecting through shared, relatable feelings and experiences.

In five years, I see myself working for a company creating patterns for homeware collections gaining experience while still building on my personal brand and portfolio because I would eventually love to start my own business.

I love translating my drawings into patterns and printing these on to different hard and soft materials, exploring how they can be used across different surfaces. This allows me to see the potential in my designs and ways I am able to push them out to a wider audience.
