BA (Hons)
Film & TV

I have been studying BA Hons Film and TV at University of Wales Trinity Saint David for 3years. When I started at UWTSD 4 years ago, I did not know what career path I wanted to go onto. But after studying the Art & Design Foundation course at UWTSD in the first year, helped me make my decision to make pursue a career in filmmaking.

During the final year of Film and TV I started to focus my work towards cinematography within the documentary genre. I have many interests within the filmmaking industry, but I believe that these two parts of filmmaking are my strongest out of the rest of the filmmaking industry. For my graduate project I directed and was the cinematographer for my own film, which is about a local female choir in Neath called Valley Rock Voices and was the cinematographer for other student productions such as Stab In The Dark, A Daughters love.

For my final film for the course, I felt that I was confident enough to make my own short documentary. Sing is a short documentary that follows the choir to their forthcoming concert at the Brangwyn Hall in June 2020 but because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the production of the film got cut short. I’m planning on carrying on the production of the documentary of Singin the future.
