Ever since watching ‘Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone’ as a child, I have been captivated by the way films are able to transport you to another world. This inspired me to study ‘Creative Media Production’ at Coleg Sir Gar, where I learnt new skills and my passion for film grew. I decided to further my education and study ‘Digital Film and TV Production’ at The University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
Over the past 3 years, my work has developed and my standard has improved. I have learnt how to convey my creative vision, and identify a style and aesthetic for films I have worked on. I now know how to bring a story to life. I also gained an interest in makeup as a way to express my creative side, and this has developed into a real passion of mine. I feel makeup is an art form, and it is one I truly appreciate.
In future, I am aiming towards a career in the industry, either in the art department as I have enjoyed my experience in the creative role of the production designer. Or working on film and TV as a professional makeup artist.
