Hi, I’m a 3rd year student and I have just finished studying BA Hons Film and TV at University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
When I started the course 3 years ago, I never knew what I was getting myself in for. I was also unsure of the film industry in its entirety, I just knew that I wanted to work in film.
Over the past 3 years, I have learnt so much about myself and the film industry, having worked on various projects in a variety of roles, most important for me, my graduate project ‘A Daughter’s Love’ based on the relationship between a lawyer and her client- a film that I wrote and directed.
Looking back at the past 3 years, I can see how my skills have changed in my specialism as a director from projects such as Paranormal Wales and ‘A Daughter’s Love’, and collaborative roles on ‘Read Me’ and ‘Stab in the Dark’.
I definitely want to stay in the industry in the future, as a director, and will always look for new opportunities to perfect my skills. Looking forward,my main goal is to keep writing my debut film ‘Conflict’ about competitive esports.
