My collection is inspired by my home land. Combining research and design I’ve created a series of work titled “Land of the hare”. Named after the farm I grew up on.

Inspired by Violet Bond who digs her own wild clay, I did the same.

I created pots from the clay I dug from a field which my Dad and Tadcu have cared for a combination of 120 years.

I believe the clay carries memory from the land, therefor this is some of my most personal work.

Combing my work with other natural materials such as shells, found sea glass, leaves and slag, I’ve become sustainable during this collection.

“A journey to create art harnessing human ingenuity and the wild elements. Works that are deeply of their place. Made of dirt and fire.” – Violet Bond
