About Hollie

My name is Hollie Parsons, I am from Cardiff.  I originally started off studying Aerospace Engineering, but, after some reflection, I realised that it wasn’t for me, and I needed to find something more creative. I found my passion studying architecture and I truly believe it has been the best decision I have ever made. I hope to continue in architecture after university, applying for my part 1 architectural assistant job or possibly into a similar creative field. I hand drew the majority of my work, either on paper or using procreate on my iPad. I take great pride in this process of design through hand drawing. Studying architecture has been a dream, I couldn’t recommend this course or career enough.

My project looks to revitalise the arts and leisure scene in the centre of Pontypridd. The project hosts an 800 seat theatre with tiered seating over three floors. The theatre can host a variety of events, concerts, musicals, orchestral productions and conferences. With the building fully equipped with dressing rooms, rehearsal spaces, wardrobe and extensive back of house storage. The project also provides Pontypridd with four cinema rooms which can be hired to display local film student projects.
