I have always been heavily inspired by my hometown Port Talbot, and it’s industrialised landscape that has a unique beauty, incomparable to any other place I have been. This project is an ode to my hometown with textural elements mimicking the structures that scatter the landscape and wild florals that flourish in adverse conditions, highlighting the natural beauty that thrives in unlikely places.

In the next few years I hope to be gaining industry experience and learning new skills while designing unique and luxurious textiles for interior spaces. I would also love to be challenging myself through interior styling as I have a passion for interior design.

Surface Pattern allows you to create in an ever-evolving way. There is always a new skill to learn and a new technique to try, because of this, the field is exciting and far reaching.
