A visit to Kew Gardens earlier in the year inspired me to investigate plant and animal structures, leading on to research into basic human and animal instincts, and fundamental links in the ways we communicate and share knowledge, information, and stories. Both Janet Cardiff and Marina Abramovic have influenced my processes through their utilisation of sound and performance in connecting and communicating intimacy with the viewer. This work aims to communicate a significant moment of intimacy in my personal life, sharing this moment with the viewer through multi-sensory
